Yes, that really is me, chances are we met at some point in time during the past Game Developers Conference, and your interest was piqued in order to come here. So a little bit about me; I was born in the generation that doesn't know life without video games, and as long as I can remember they've been in the place I lived from the Atari 2600/Colecovision combo, up through the modern generation. So it just became natural that this digital art is the direction I would take my career.
Like most that are new to the industry, I paid my dues working on pet projects, open and closed beta tests, and networking through the IGDA. After quite a bit of localization and QA work on MMOs, things started to pay off on the design side in 2003 when I had my first published game work in the German Magazine, GameStar. It was a few multiplayer levels for their add-on pack for their re-release of Serious Sam: The Second Encounter.
I was lead into the Casual Games space where I found it enjoyable to work on games that everyone can enjoy, regardless of their previous gaming experiences. Not only did this increase the audience I make games for, but also incredibly increased the number of devices I have games published on.
With over 20 games in my credits, I look forward to the next project, and bringing fun into peoples' lives all across the globe, and beyond.
